Aviation software provider Rusada has appointed Larry Strykowski as its new Director of Business Development

In his new role, Strykowski, Rusada says that he ‘will help drive the company’s growth in North America’, in particular through the promotion of its ENVISION software, which manages and assesses airworthiness, maintenance and flight operations, to operators and maintainers across the continent.

Rusada says that Strykowski has a ‘wealth of experience in the aviation software industry’. He previously served as Director of Technology for the Bristow Helicopter Group, where he spent a decade implementing a number enterprise-wide solutions.

Strykowski also previously worked as Managing Director for Technology – MRO and Supply Chain Systems for both Continental Airlines and United Airlines, where he ‘selected and implemented enterprise-wide solutions for Maintenance Planning and Technical Publications, as well as various maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products. He also oversaw the consolidation of technical solutions following the merger of Continental and United in 2010.

“Larry’s comprehensive experience attained from both the fixed wing and rotary sides of the industry make him the ideal person to bolster our efforts in North America,” said Julian Stourton, CEO at Rusada. “His unique customer perspective will be an invaluable tool for improving ENVISION and its delivery.”

Despite the impact of the pandemic, Rusada has continued to experience strong and consistent growth. In June 2021, the company announced a major recruitment drive to grow its Product Development division.
