Sikorsky names Czech firm as EU Black Hawk parts distributor
Česká letecká servisní will stock Sikorsky Black Hawk components in the Czech Republic, supporting more than 150 aircraft operated across the European Union
Česká letecká servisní (ČLS) has been appointed an authorized Sikorsky distribution center for Black Hawk helicopter parts in the European Union (EU).
Based in the Czech Republic, ČLS will stock Sikorsky-recommended components, supporting operators of S-70, UH-60M, and UH-60A/L helicopters. More than 150 Black Hawks are currently in service across the EU.
“As the Hawk helicopter fleet grows in Europe, we are committed to supporting operator readiness for emergency response, security operations, and more,” said Rich Benton, Vice President and General Manager of Sikorsky. “By working alongside ČLS, we are strengthening our service footprint in the EU and ensuring timely parts delivery.”
The appointment follows Sikorsky’s review of ČLS’s quality, operational, and policy requirements. It is the manufacturer’s first authorized distribution center in the EU.
ČLS is also working with Sikorsky, PZL Mielec, and United Rotorcraft on the S-70 Firehawk program for the Czech Republic. PZL Mielec manufactures the S-70 Black Hawk in Poland.
