StandardAero receives prize for best engine repair

StandardAero prize

US-based provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, StandardAero, has received the 2021 Top Shop Awards for ‘Best Engine Components Repair’ and ‘Best Engine Repair’

Representatives from StandardAero were presented with the two awards during the MRO Americas event which took place in Orlando, Florida, this week. The Top Shop Awards are presented by The 145, an aviation database focused on the MRO market. The peer-driven awards were created to honor those MRO shops that deliver quality of service, exceptional turn-around-times, competitive pricing and excellent customer relations.

StandardAero’s Component Services team (SACS) is a multi-time winner of the Top Shop’s ‘Best Engine Components Repair’ and ‘Best Engine Accessories Repair’ awards, though this is the first year that StandardAero has also received the award for ‘Best Engine Repair’ StandardAero supports a wide range of turbofan, turboprop and turboshaft engines. The company’s capabilities also include the CFM International CFM56-7B and Rolls-Royce RB211-535 large fan engines.

Reinforced pride felt by employees worldwide

StandardAero recently appointed Lewis Prebble as President of the company’s airlines and fleets division.
