Technimount’s Xtension Pro Assistant – LP

The solution allows multiple medical devices to be carried during air critical care transport

Technimount EMS, an affiliate of Technimount System, has announced that its Xtension Pro Assistant – LP has been named as a 2022 EMS World Innovation Awards winner.

The EMS World Innovation Awards recognizes products for their innovative features and applicability that can significantly improve and potentially transform EMS care.

The Xtension Pro Assistant – LP is a solution that allows multiple medical devices to be carried on the LifePort Cot during air critical care transport.

This mounting solution reduces medical equipment installation time by incorporating features such as a two-sided open structure that facilitates a lateral patient transfer from bed or stretcher to cot, while the medical equipment remains installed. This solution ensures an easy transition from air to ground emergency transport up to hospital environments. Therefore, critical care teams can be more efficient in managing equipment and concentrate on patient care.

“It is an honor for us to get such recognition from the industry’s most esteemed award in 2022,” said Carl Bouchard, Founder and CEO of Technimount System. “Being recognized as an innovative company over the years drives us to exceed our own expectations for the best interest of our clients. We take great pride in the acknowledgment we receive from the healthcare community for bringing to the market solutions that truly respond to their needs.”

Earlier this year, Technimount EMS launched a secure mounting solution for multiple perfusion and infusion pumps as part of its Bracket Pro Serie.
