Time to nominate your top transport nurses in 2021!
Nominations are now open for Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing’s 2021 awards for flight and ground transport nurses
New this year, the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) will honor two transport nurses – one flight nurse, and one critical care ground transport nurse – who demonstrate excellence in their specialty and advocate for board certified transport nursing excellence.
March marks the 15th anniversary of the Certified Transport Registered Nurses (CTRN) certification. Today, there are nearly 4,800 Certified Flight Registered Nurses (CFRNs) and nearly 300 CTRNs delivering board certified transport nursing care around the world.
The following nurses are eligible to be nominated or nominate themselves:
• Nurses holding the Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) are eligible for the BCEN Distinguished CFRN Award.
• Nurses holding the Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) are eligible for the BCEN Distinguished CTRN Award.
BCEN will announce the 2021 Distinguished CFRN and CTRN Award winners in mid-May and recognize the recipients during the ASTNA/AMPA/IAFCCP-hosted Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference (CCTMC).
Nominate a top transport nurse or yourself for BCEN’s national awards by Wednesday 31 March.
