Toll’s ACE Training Centre gains new approvals

Toll Group has confirmed that it has acquired Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 141 and 142 approvals.

The Asia-Pacific logistical services provider said that its ACE Training Centre is now the only provider of these services in Australia. Following the 141 and 142 approval, The ACE Training Centre is now able to conduct: AW139 Type Rating; B412 Type Rating; NVIS (night vision imaging system) Rating with an AW139 NPC or B412 NPC; Low Level Rating with a Winch Endorsement; and Flight Instructor Rating with Type Rating Training Endorsement.

The service will utilise its OEM AW139 Level D Full Flight Simulator, the only one in Australia, as well as its experienced flight instructors, including Perry Scholte, Graham Svenson and Darryl Humphreys – who has been instructing on the AW139 and flying it operationally for over 11 years.

The Toll Training Centre is now positioned to serve not just the Asia-Pacific region, but also the global market, says Toll. The centre conducts training for every crew member on board the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter Service.
