Two new H145s for Avincis HEMS
Aviation services provider Avincis has acquired two new H145s, for use in air ambulance operations
The company took possession of the two five-bladed rotorcraft at Airbus’s facility in Donauwörth, Germany, on 28 August.
Both aircraft will be used by Avincis for helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), with one joining its fleet in Italy, and the other going to Sweden.
The latter aircraft is the first of three H145s being sent to Sweden in the coming months – Avincis said that the other two would be delivered to its partners there in early 2025.
All four helicopters will be acquired through Avincis’ long-standing partnership with aviation lessor LCI.
“The delivery of these aircraft supports our confidence in the potential of the global emergency aviation services market and fulfills the requirements of our near- and long-term fleet strategy,” said John Boag, Group CEO of Avincis.
Jaspal Jandu, CEO, LCI, added: “We are proud to extend our partnership with Avincis through the delivery of these mission-critical helicopters. This underscores the vital role that these aircraft play in performing lifesaving missions across Europe and the globe.”
Avincis also previously signed a €50-million sale and leaseback agreement with LEVL Leasing in November 2023.
