Two serious accidents attended to by helicopter crew

RACQ CQ Rescue was called to a quad bike accident last night and a horse kick accident this morning.

This morning, RACQ CQ Rescue airlifted a woman to hospital after she was kicked in the stomach by a horse at the Nebo Showgrounds in Queensland, Australia. A spokesperson for RACQ CQ Rescue said that this was the second time the woman had been injured by a horse in recent weeks.

Yesterday, just after 16:00hrs, the RACQ CQ Rescue crew also came to the aid of a toddler who was injured in a quad bike accident.

“Horses and quad bikes are two of the most frequent reasons RACQ CQ Rescue is tasked to rural, and often very remote, properties in this region,” an RACQ CQ Rescue spokesperson said.
