US Navy lends choppers to California firefighting effort

A US Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the ‘Black Jacks’ of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 is taking part in the mission to fight the California wildfires.
A US Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the ‘Black Jacks’ of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 is taking part in the mission to fight the California wildfires. Both HSC-3 and HSC-21 are assisting California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The choppers they are operating in the fires are specially equipped to conduct aerial water drops. They are operating in the San Diego County area.
