It has integrated its Aerial Firefighting Data Acquisition Unit

v2track has partnered with Australia-based engineering firm Airborne Mission Systems (AMS) to resell and support its Aerial Firefighting Data Acquisition Unit, AFDAU-T1.

The AFDAU-T1 has changed the way aerial firefighters collect and report operational data, offering benefits for helicopter and fixed-wing operators.

It provides automated data collection and reporting of fire data, removing the need for manual calibration or the pilot to provide input. Operators have peace of mind that their data reporting is automatic and accurate.

The AFDAU-T1 provides real-time data, while being affordable and reliable. This device is compatible with the v2track V5, the RockAIR, and the Flightcell DZMx, all of which are fully supported by the v2track Viewer software platform.

The unit meets the requirements of the National Aerial Firefighting Centre of Australia (NAFC) and the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service (USFS).

“We are very pleased to have v2track as a certified integration partner,” said AFDAU-T1 Lead Engineer and AMS Co-Founder Zane Vohland. “They have fully integrated the AFDAU-T1 into their software platform and have the in-house expertise to sell and support it.”
