Jet Logistics expands service to Pacific region
Jet Logistics Inc, a fixed-wing operator and air medical vendor, has successfully completed all Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) training and testing to receive authorisation to conduct operations in the Pacific Ocean and surrounding areas
Jet Logistics Inc, a fixed-wing operator and air medical vendor, has successfully completed all Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) training and testing to receive authorisation to conduct operations in the Pacific Ocean and surrounding areas, thus immediately expanding the company’s service range for air medical/ambulance clients throughout the Pacific region, including the Hawaiian Islands. Jet Logistics now holds FAA approval to operate in all areas of the globe, other than the Polar Region. The announcement means appropriately equipped company or client-owned aircraft in the company’s fleet such as the Learjet 36 and Hawker 800/800XP can now operate global air medical transport missions in the Pacific region for air medical providers relying upon Jet Logistics to manage their fixed-wing transport programs.
Company president W. Ashley Smith, Jr. commented: “These latest certifications compliment the company’s existing worldwide op-specs and other specialised accreditations comprising the company’s own FAA global authorization initiative, which coincided with the development and expansion of international, long-haul medical transport services for our AeroMedOPS™ and GovOPS™ divisions.”
