EMERCOM assists in medevac of seriously-ill patient
A Russian man was evacuated on a Sukhoi Superjet 100 from the city of Stavropol to Moscow to receive further medical treatment.
A Russian man was evacuated on a Sukhoi Superjet 100 from the city of Stavropol to Moscow to receive further medical treatment, the Russian Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM) has announced.
The plane, owned by the Ministry for Emergency Situations, is equipped with ‘modern equipment and a special medical module, medical ventilation apparatuses and cardiomonitors’, according to EMERCOM, which helped to safely transport the patient, who was said to be in a serious condition.
The patient was accompanied by medical personnel for the entirety of the flight, and will receive advanced medical aid in Moscow.
