German medevac choppers travel to Mali

The Bundeswehr, the German military, has detailed the journey for four of its NH-90 helicopters in their deployment to Mali. The video details the mounting of the choppers’ rotor-blades, thorough checks of the electronic systems and finally a test run on the ground. The helicopters have been sent from Leipzig, Germany to the Malian capital Bamako to assist with the ongoing United Nations peacekeeping efforts in the country. The helicopters and crews will be on hand to complete medevac duties, and are equipped with state-of-the-art emergency medical equipment, said the Bundeswehr.
