EMERCOM jet carries flies patient from Omsk to Saint-Petersburg
Sukhoi Superjet 100 flew patient from Omsk, Western Siberia, to Saint-Petersburg on the Baltic Coast.
A Russian Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM) Sukhoi Superjet 100 carried out the medical evacuation of a gravely ill patient from the city of Omsk, Western Siberia, to Saint-Petersburg on the Baltic Coast. EMERCOM said on 1 July that the patient was in need of ‘urgent, highly qualified and high-tech medical aid’.
Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Central Airmobile Rescue Team, the Health Ministry’s Zashchita Center for Emergency Medicine and a psychologist accompanied a patient in flight.
The patient was delivered for specialised medical care to Nikiforov’s All-Russian Center for Emergency and Radiation Medicine, said EMERCOM.
