Krasnoyarsk Air Rescue Center to receive amphibious firefighting jets
The amphibious firefighting jets will join a pair of Be-200s already based at the Krasnoyarsk Air Rescue Centre.
The Russian Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM) has announced that it is adding two additional Beriev Be-200ChS planes to its fleet. The amphibious firefighting jets will join a pair of Be-200s already based at the Krasnoyarsk Air Rescue Centre. One further plane is expected to be supplied in the near future, said EMERCOM.
The Ministry added that it plans to establish similar divisions in other federal districts in 2018.
