Sikorsky contracts United Rotorcraft for Black Hawk medical interior
The contract is for 75 interiors over the next five years.
United Rotorcraft, a division of Air Methods, announced on 14 July that it has signed a contract to provide Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, with 75 shipsets of the United Rotorcraft Black Hawk Medical Interior system over the next five years. This multi-year contract is the fifth of its kind with Sikorsky since 1997, noted United Rotorcraft, and includes the installation of the interior system in HH-60M aircraft at Sikorsky’s facility in Stratford, Connecticut, US.
The previous contracts involved the delivery of 280 medical interiors on HH-60A, HH-60L (originally designated the UH-60Q) and HH-60M model Black Hawks.
