EMERCOM Russia jets five from Stavropol and Perm

A Russian Emergency Control Ministry Sukhoi SuperJet 100 carried out the medical evacuation of five gravely ill patients from Stavropol and Perm to Nizhny Novgorod and Saint-Petersburg on 2 September.

Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas State Central Airmobile Team, the Health Ministry Zashchita All-Russian Centre for Disaster Medicine and an EMERCOM psychologist accompanied the patients during the flight.
First, three patients were delivered to Nizhny Novgorod to receive specialised medical treatment in the Volga Federal Medical Research Institute. The plane then took off to Saint-Petersburg to deliver patients to the Alamazov Northwestern Federal Research Institute for high-tech medical treatment.
