UK and US aircraft combine for rescue
The US Coast Guard and the British Royal Navy combined to rescue a woman and two children from a vessel off the coast of Puerto Rico.
The US Coast Guard and the British Royal Navy combined to rescue a woman and two children from a vessel off the coast of Puerto Rico. The Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules airplane crew from Air Station Clearwater, Florida and the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary Mounts Bay rescue helicopter crews co-ordinated after receiving an alert via emergency position indicating radio beacon and then a distress call from the vessel which stated they were disabled and adrift.
