Carlo is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Genoa, Italy. Since 1995, Carlo has been part of the Neonatal Transport Service at the Gaslini Institute in Genoa, and in 2010 became Director of Neonatal Transport Service. He performs around 300 transports per year. He has published more than 350 articles, letters, and book chapters, focusing on sharing expertise and best practice in the transportation of neonatal patients.
