The aircraft services provider will provide repairs to SKYTRAC’s Iridium satellite communications (satcom) terminals and accessories

SKYTRAC, a satcom and intelligent connectivity solutions company, has announced Arrow Aviation as its new authorized service center for SKYTRAC’s Iridium satcom terminals and accessories. Arrow Aviation is a provider of 24/7, aircraft on ground (AOG) helicopter services, parts sales, and helicopter leasing.

This partnership means that Arrow will provide support in the US for the SKYTRAC’s ISAT-200A terminal, an onboard solution which provides a suite of capabilities including Automated Flight Following (AFF), Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), real-time Health and Usage Monitoring (HUMS) alerting, and satellite voice, text, and Push-to-Talk (PTT) communications.

Jan van der Heul, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SKYTRAC, said: “We are excited to work with a well reputed organization such as Arrow Aviation to support our US client base.”

Arrow Aviation will also provide repairs for ISAT-200A accessories including the Cockpit Display Panel and Dispatch Voice Interface (CDP/DVI), the ITRAY, and the Dynamic Air Link 200 (DAL-200).

“We look forward to partnering with a leader in satellite connectivity solutions, such as SKYTRAC, and building on our breadth of expertise,” said Glenn Nestor, Avionics Manager, Arrow Aviation.

SKYTRAC’s DL150 Satellite Data Unit (SDU) was recently selected by Southeast Aerospace.
