Avinode launches digital platform to modernize air ambulance operations
The new air ambulance solution is designed to transform the way air medical missions are planned and managed
A new digital platform developed by Avinode aims to streamline air ambulance operations. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in business aviation, the system enables real-time tracking of aircraft readiness, provider availability, and mission status. By offering a centralized platform for communication and data exchange, it seeks to reduce inefficiencies and improve coordination between medical assistance companies and air ambulance operators.
“We’re thrilled to bring our technology expertise to the air ambulance sector,” said Per Marthinsson, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Avinode Group. “Our platform offers a powerful, user-friendly solution that simplifies the complexities of mission planning and coordination, helping companies provide lifesaving services more efficiently.”
Key tools include:
- Real-time provider availability for faster and more accurate mission planning
- Cost-saving features such as empty-leg optimization and aircraft pooling
- Integrated communication channels for seamless in-system chat between teams.
“Our goal is to help medical assistance companies and air ambulance providers navigate the fast-paced world of medical aviation with greater ease and efficiency,” added Marthinsson. “This platform is designed to support their vital work by offering the technology they need to thrive.”
TracPlus recently launched FireFlyte, a digital platform for aerial firefighting.
