Bridger Aerospace and TracPlus boost aerial firefighting coordination
Real-time aerial suppression data is being brought together for US wildfire response teams through a new Bridger Aerospace and TracPlus integration
Bridger Aerospace has partnered with New Zealand-based TracPlus to integrate real-time aircraft and mission data into the IGNIS wildfire intelligence platform, providing incident management teams and firefighters with a unified operational view of aerial suppression activities.
The integration combines TracPlus’s real-time aircraft tracking, aviation intelligence, and retardant drop event data with Bridger’s IGNIS platform, enabling ground crews, aviation personnel, and incident managers to monitor aircraft operations, view where suppression drops have occurred, and assess their impact on the wider incident.
The collaboration supports growing demand for interoperable wildfire response technology as agencies increasingly rely on data from multiple aircraft, operators, and information systems to coordinate firefighting efforts.
The companies said the integration was intended to help break down information silos by allowing aerial and ground resources to work from the same operational picture, supporting more informed decision-making during wildfire suppression operations.
Bridger Aerospace recently selected FireFlyte, powered by TracPlus, to automate mission data capture across its aerial firefighting fleet ahead of the 2026 fire season.
