Bridger to auto-track every fire drop across six scoopers
Bridger Aerospace will adopt TracPlus FireFlyte across its scooper, air attack, and ISR fleet to automatically capture and analyze every drop and sortie
Bridger Aerospace has selected FireFlyte, powered by TracPlus Global, to automate mission data capture across its aerial firefighting fleet ahead of the 2026 fire season. The system builds a continuous operational picture of each sortie, enabling analysis of drops, timing, and aircraft performance rather than post-mission estimates.
FireFlyte automatically records each mission from takeoff to landing, capturing position, time, firefighting mode, and drop lines, producing an Aerial Firefighting Report. Data is captured at source, giving a unified view across mixed fleets.
“For Bridger, the goal is not just operational awareness, but also continuous improvement,” said Sam Davis, CEO of Bridger Aerospace. “Mission data from FireFlyte allows us to make sure every aircraft... is performing at the highest possible level.”
Bridger Aerospace recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Positive Aviation to become the exclusive North American launch customer for the FF72 water scooper, subject to negotiation.
