CAMTS awards accreditations to five organizations
The accreditations were awarded to five US-based air medical providers following the commission’s winter board meeting
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) has awarded accreditations to five air medical organizations following its winter board meeting.
The accreditations went to Cleveland Clinic Critical Care Transport for rotary-, fixed-wing, and ground operations; to HALO-Flight for rotary-wing; to Life Lion Critical Care Transport for rotary-wing and ground operations; to Mercy Flight Central for rotary-wing; and to UCHealth LifeLine for rotary-, fixed-wing and ground operations.
“Achieving CAMTS accreditation is a major milestone that showcases a strong dedication to excellence in medical transport,” said Jan Eichel, Executive Director of CAMTS.
She added that CAMTS standards, developed and regularly updated by a panel of safety and medical transportation experts, exceeded regulatory requirements.
CAMTS previously awarded accreditations to 16 operators at a spring board meeting in 2025.
