Custom Helicopters teams up with Voxelis to drive advancements in firefighting technology through VoxVision AI edge computing
Voxelis Canada Corporation and Custom Helicopters have announced that Custom will join Voxelis as a technology launch partner for its new system, VoxVision. The artificial intelligence (AI) powered vision and data collection platform is designed to enhance and expand the capabilities of helicopters, using the latest in onboard AI computing and deep learning technology. As a VoxVision early customer adoption program partner, Custom will be among the first helicopter companies to adopt Voxelis’s technology.
Colin O’Neill, CEO of Voxelis, stated: “We are thrilled to join forces with Custom Helicopters to introduce VoxVision across their fleet and unlock the full potential of airborne AI for wildfire management, infrastructure monitoring, and beyond. Together, we’re introducing the new standard in airborne mission technology and delivering value to helicopter users.”
Jed Hansen, President and CEO of Custom Helicopters, added: “We are excited to be working with Voxelis to bring this innovative technology to our fleet, enhancing our services and providing our customers with transformational data and information.”
Last year Contour Helicopters joined Voxelis’s early customer adoption program for VoxVision.
