EHAC holds Symposium in Baden-Baden
More than 50 experts from across Europe recently assembled for European HEMS and Air Ambulance Committee Symposium in Germany.
More than 50 experts from across Europe recently assembled for European HEMS and Air Ambulance Committee (EHAC) Symposium in Baden-Baden, Germany. Attendees included members of air rescue organisations alongside manufacturers of helicopters and medical equipment, as well as important suppliers. During the conference, DRF Luftrettung showed off its operations centre at Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport and shared its experiences as the launch operator of the H145 helicopter model.
As part of EHAC’s remit to shape the future of air rescue, international experts delivered presentations covering political, medical and flight operation. In addition to scientific studies and examples of best practice, future scenarios for application possibilities for rescue helicopters were discussed. The participants also talked about the increasing danger of private drones interfering air rescue missions and how to avoid accidents.
