Entrol to deliver H145 simulator to SRSL
Entrol has announced the sale of a new simulator for the Airbus H145 to New Zealand-based emergency services provider Search and Rescue Services Limited (SRSL)
The H145 FNPT II MCC simulator will be fully installed in the fourth quarter (Q4) of this year.
The simulator, which features Entrol’s new ENWALL LED system and Mixed Reality (MR) Hoist Operator Station, will support a range of search and rescue (SAR), emergency medical services (EMS), firefighting, and offshore training scenarios.
It features an exact replica of the H145 cockpit, equipped with dual GTN 750Xi avionics, as well as vibration systems to simulate real-world flight conditions more effectively.
The integrated hoist training simulator also enables real-time training in partnership with pilots, allowing for the optimization of communication and operational effectiveness.
Entrol stated that the new simulator – its third in Oceania – represents a significant expansion of its presence in the region.
The order, explained Claudia Calleja, Entrol’s Business Manager, “reflects the increasing demand for high-quality mission training solutions in the region and the trust that operators like SRSL place in our technology”.
Entrol unveiled the MR Hoist Operator Station earlier this month.
