Fargo Jet Center delivers reconfigured Learjet to Airmedic
The aircraft boasts an array of new equipment, and will be used for long-distance, international missions
Fargo Jet Center has announced the delivery of a newly configured Learjet 45 fixed-wing air ambulance to Canadian air ambulance provider Airmedic.
The delivery follows the formal acceptance of the aircraft by Airmedic in January, after the completion of final inspections.
Airmedic will use the aircraft to support longer-distance transfers and international patient repatriations.
Fargo said the new interior configuration featured a range of equipment, including:
- A Skytrac ISAT-200A satcom/flight following system with cockpit audio interface and cabin handsets
- A new composite sidewall with stainless steel overlay
- An integrated upper medical sidewall with oxygen, air, vacuum, and power outlets
- A custom Spectrum Aeromed medical cabinet
- Cabin lighting upgrades
- A Spectrum Aeromed forward baggage storage area
- Spectrum Aeromed overhead Brownline tracks
- A dedicated medical cabin power system and high-power USB charging ports
- Custom-fit Loncoin flooring and privacy curtain
- An electric patient loader outlet.
“Partnering with Fargo Jet Center allowed us to transform real-world operational needs, from patients and medical crews to client expectations, into a truly one-of-a-kind aircraft,” said Louis-Philippe Loiselle Fortier, Vice-President of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development at Airmedic. “With their expertise we were able to create a highly specialized and unique environment that enhances patient care, empowers our medical teams, and instills absolute trust in our clients when it matters most.”
