GPMS expands EASA approvals for Foresight MX HUMS ahead of European Rotors 2025

Helicopter health monitoring specialist GPMS International has announced expanded European approvals for its Foresight MX health and usage monitoring system (HUMS), widening access to its predictive maintenance technology across key rotorcraft platforms.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has validated several of GPMS’s existing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certificates (STCs) for the system, including the Airbus AS350/H125 (STC 10086957), Bell 407 (STC 10069291), Bell 429 (STC 10087254), and Bell 212 and 412 models (STC 10087806).

These validations extend Foresight MX’s applicability across popular single- and twin-engine helicopters operated throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The system enables operators to monitor aircraft and engine health, manage rotor track and balance, and track fleet exceedances through a modern, connected platform designed to enhance safety and readiness while lowering maintenance costs.

GPMS will showcase its next-generation HUMS technology at European Rotors 2025, taking place on 17–20 November (exhibits open 18–20 November) in Cologne, Germany. The company plans to highlight the latest enhancements to Foresight MX and engage operators seeking to integrate predictive maintenance into their operations.

Foresight MX continues to gain traction with both private and public service operators globally, offering a data-driven approach to maintenance planning that supports mission availability and safety in demanding sectors such as air medical, law enforcement, and utility aviation.
