Heli-One and Vincorion partner on next-gen ERH premierV rescue hoist

Heli-One and Vincorion have partnered to support certification, integration, and life-cycle support of the ERH premierV rescue hoist across civil and military helicopter fleets

Heli-One and Vincorion Advanced Systems have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly support the market introduction, certification, integration, and life-cycle support of Vincorion’s next-generation Electrical Rescue Hoist (ERH) premierV across multiple helicopter types.

Vincorion has developed the ERH premierV to lift 303kg at up to 2m per second over distances of 330ft. The system also features wireless remote-control capability, aimed at improving flexibility for complex search and rescue and safety-critical missions in challenging onshore and offshore environments.

Under the agreement, the companies will work to reduce technical and operational barriers for operators introducing the system into service. A key focus will be defining supplemental type certificate (STC) pathways to enable integration across multiple helicopter platforms, supporting global civil and military operators.

The ERH premierV is also designed for high operational readiness, with extended maintenance intervals and reduced life-cycle burden. Heli-One will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support from its Norwegian facility.

Heli-One recently announced that its support contract with Leonardo to provide MRO services to the Norwegian All-Weather Search and Rescue Helicopter (NAWSARH) helicopter program had been extended and expanded.
