ITC-AeroLeasing signs new leases with Med-Trans
ITC concluded five new leases with US emergency medical services (EMS) operator Med-Trans, part of Global Medical Response (GMR)
ITC-AeroLeasing has announced the lease of five Bell 407 aircraft from Med-Trans, bringing Med-Trans’ total helicopter fleet on lease from ITC to seven.
The five Bell 407s are configured for emergency medical services and will be deployed to Med-Trans bases in Texas, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Kansas, serving the local hospital systems. All leases commenced during the month of March 2024.
Since entering initial production in 1995, the Bell 407 has become one of the most popular models in EMS operations, known for its versatility and reliability.
Dmitiry Jidkov, GMR’s Vice President of Corporate Finance, said: “We are pleased to further strengthen our relationship with ITC-AeroLeasing through our Med-Trans operations. In the past five years, ITC has been a trusted partner, and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future.”
The Louisiana State Police in the US recently placed an order with Bell Textron for the supply of two Bell 407GXi police helicopters.
