These will be the first H225Ms delivered to the country.

The aircraft were ordered back in August 2016 and flight testing has now begun. They will be operated by the Kuwait Air Force and the Kuwait National Guard.

Airbus’ H225M helicopters are in service across the globe, with 95 H225Ms having accumulated around 114,000 flight hours. Some of the locations they are active in include France, Brazil, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Singapore, Kuwait and Hungary also recently placed an order for the aircraft.
