Under the terms of the contract, Reiser has been contracted for the provision of a H135/H145 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) with the latest technology for training courses tailored for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services. The FFS, which has an interchangeable cockpit, is able to map the specifics of both the Airbus H145 and H135 models. In addition, the FFS is equipped with a Third Crew Member Station, where virtual reality technology is used to simulate how to abseil from a helicopter. With the number of nighttime air rescue missions steadily increasing around the world, the H145/H135 FFS is particularly suitable for training for these essential flight situations in a realistic atmosphere. The new FFS helicopter type H145/H135 is going to be put into operation at the largest training location of Lufthansa Aviation Training in Frankfurt in summer 2020.
