The Spanish police have had its H11/H135 Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer (FNPT) II updated to Flight Training Device (FTD) Level 2 standards

Entrol upgraded the multi-crew interoperability (MCC) capable flight simulators, originally installed in 2008, to include a high-resolution database, a FLIR based long-range infrared camera, a new vibration system, six Full HD projectors, and a spherical visual system with a field of view of 200º x 70º.

“This project is an important achievement for us, as we can see how the confidence in FTD devices increases due to their high quality. We also want to thank the Spanish Police for their trust in our products. They keep on trusting us for their simulator solutions after 14 years of cooperation.” states Nacho Navacerrada, Sales Director in Entrol Simulators.

Entrol has also recently sold several new simulators to various clients – including two new FTDs based on the H125 and H145 helicopters for Italian operator Air Corporate, and one H19/AW109 simulator for the UK’s Helicentre Aviation Academy.
