Spectrum Aeromed partners with Bangkok Hospital to develop air medical transport training center

The center will serve as a key training ground for medical professionals from Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) hospitals and across the region

Spectrum Aeromed, a provider of air ambulance equipment, has collaborated with BDMS Medevac Center, Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, to develop a new Aeromedical Transport Training Center.

The state-of-the-art training center includes two advanced air ambulance modules featuring carbon fiber MedWalls and specialized medical device mounts, allowing trainees to practice real-time patient care in high-pressure air transport scenarios. These lifesaving technologies are designed to prepare healthcare teams for the complex challenges of in-flight medical care.

Horst Heinicke, Vice President of International Sales at Spectrum Aeromed, commented: “We take pride in supporting international healthcare initiatives that enhance medical preparedness for air transport.”

This collaboration strengthens the global infrastructure for emergency medical services and equips professionals with the expertise needed to save lives in critical situations.”

As part of the BDMS network, the Aeromedical Transport Training Center primarily serves medical teams from BDMS’s network hospitals and across Southeast Asia.

Last year Spectrum Aeromed announced a new range of liquid oxygen (LOX) solutions.
