SRSL acquires three new H145s
The four-bladed rotorcraft were supplied by Rotortrade, and will support the expansion and modernization of the New Zealand operator’s work
New Zealand’s Search & Rescue Services (SRSL) has acquired three pre-owned Airbus H145 D3 helicopters, delivered by helicopter dealership Rotortrade.
The aircraft, received over the past few months, will support the expansion and modernization of the company’s emergency air ambulance operations.
SRSL operates from eight bases across New Zealand’s North Island (Te-Ika-a-Māui), in Tauranga, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Taupō, Gisborne, Hastings, Palmerston North, and Wellington.
Rotortrade also recently supported the installation of a new H145 flight navigation and procedures trainer Level II (FNPT II) multi-crew cooperation (MCC) simulator at its Taupō training center.
“These aircraft represent a critical investment in our ability to deliver advanced emergency medical care to communities across New Zealand,” said Paul Baxter, CEO of SRSL. “Rotortrade has been a trusted and responsive partner throughout this process, and their support has helped ensure the smooth integration of these helicopters into our fleet as we continue to expand our operational capability.”
Rotortrade also recently signed a deal with Australian operator Toll Aviation for the supply of two AW139 helicopters.
