Vita Inclinata roll-out

Vita Inclinata Technologies has announced the fleetwide roll-out of its Vita Rescue System (VRS) by the US Air Force Reserve and US Air National Guard

The deployment is the culmination of a multi-year collaboration with AFWERX, the innovation arm of the US Department of the Air Force (DAF).

The system, which automatically compensates for hoist spin and swing, is expected to enhance the safety and effectiveness of helicopter rescue and medical evacuation (medevac) operations for both organizations.

According to Vita Inclinata, the deployment of the VRS follows a “comprehensive assessment program” conducted between 2022 and 2024, which included “operational unit assessments via challenging scenarios in California and Alaska”.

Vita Inclinata also unveiled a new search and rescue (SAR) extraction device earlier this year.
