The aerospace technology firm will deliver 16 of its Vita Rescue Systems (VRS) to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE)

The VRS units will be used in tandem with CAL FIRE’s S-70 Firehawk to enhance the efficiency of aerial firefighting and rescue missions.

The VRS is a precision-control lifting device used to stabilize hoisting operations, minimizing spinning, swinging, and oscillation.‍

“Partnering with CAL FIRE on their critical, lifesaving missions is an incredible honor,” said Caleb Carr, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vita Inclinata. “Our precision technology is designed to empower rescue teams with unparalleled control and safety, ensuring they can focus on what matters most: saving lives.”

Vita Inclinata also announced that the US Air Force Reserve and US Air National Guard would adopt the VRS fleet-wide in October 2024.
