Krister Genmark, Senior Vice President of Revenue for Vellox Group, discusses how making an all-in-one aviation platform is reshaping the aviation landscape and what it means for operators around the world

What has happened since we last spoke with Aleksandra Banas, CEO at Vellox Group, for the March 2025 edition?

Vellox Group has continued its mission to simplify and unify operational management for flight operators worldwide. Following the integration of Vellox Maintenance Hub (formerly ADSoftware), Vellox is now combining flight operations, safety, fleet, dispatch, and maintenance into one connected ecosystem – the first truly all-inone aviation platform.

What inspired the integration of the Vellox Maintenance Hub, and how does it fit within Vellox’s long-term vision?

Vellox Maintenance Hub builds on the legacy of ADSoftware – one of the most respected names in aviation maintenance for more than two decades. Their experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) software and technical records management made them a natural fit for Vellox.

Our vision has always been to connect the entire operational lifecycle, from dispatch and flight operations to maintenance and safety, within a single platform. Integrating the Maintenance Hub allows us to complete that vision. Operators can now manage everything from flight scheduling to component tracking without ever leaving the Vellox environment.

This evolution isn’t about adding another product; it’s about removing the silos that have slowed down operators for years.

What does this integration mean for operators, particularly those in air medical, utility, and government sectors?

For most operators, managing separate systems for flight operations, safety, and maintenance has always been a challenge. It’s nefficient, expensive, and often disconnected. With Vellox, everything is linked.

An aircraft can now trigger a maintenance event directly from a flight log. A dispatch center can instantly see which aircraft are cleared and compliant before assigning a mission. That level of visibility gives operators faster decision-making, reduced downtime, and stronger compliance control – all from one platform.

For air medical, search and rescue (SAR), and utility operators, it means they can focus more on their missions and less on managing multiple tools.

How will the Vellox Maintenance Hub continue to evolve as part of the unified platform?

The Maintenance Hub forms the foundation of one of the five core pillars of the Vellox platform, alongside Ops Suite, Safety Suite, Dispatch Pro, and Fleet Manager.

We’re working closely with our maintenance and engineering teams to unify the user experience and data flow across all modules. Maintenance data will integrate directly into flight and safety workflows, including automated minimum equipment list (MEL) tracking, real-time maintenance status in the operations control center (OCC), and predictive maintenance insights based on operational data.

Our goal is to help operators move from reactive maintenance to proactive fleet management.

What does the creation of an all-in-one platform mean for the future of aviation technology?

The aviation industry has been moving toward integration for a long time, but until now, no one has been able to connect every function under one roof.

What we’re building at Vellox is more than software. It’s an infrastructure for connected operations. By creating a single data backbone that supports compliance, safety, and performance in real time, we’re giving operators the tools to make faster, smarter decisions.

This foundation also enables the next generation of technology – from predictive analytics to AI-driven insights – which will continue to raise the bar for operational safety and efficiency in aviation.

Do you have any final thoughts?

With the addition of the Vellox Maintenance Hub, Vellox has established itself as the first truly unified aviation operations platform. From dispatch and flight operations to safety management and maintenance tracking, Vellox provides a single source of truth for aviation operators worldwide.

Our goal is simple. We want to give operators total control, total visibility, and total confidence in every mission they fly.
