Lifeseeker allows SAR teams to accurately pinpoint the location of missing persons through their mobile phones. This technology emulates a mobile network, effectively connecting to the victim’s phone and guiding teams to their exact position. This capability not only shortens response times but has, in multiple instances, made the difference between life and death.

Already in use by SAR teams in over 20 countries, including national police forces, air forces, and civil protection units, Lifeseeker has played a pivotal role in hundreds of successful missions.

LIFESAVING IN ACTION

A powerful demonstration of Lifeseeker’s impact occurred in British Columbia, Canada, during a high-priority search operation led by North Shore Rescue (NSR) in coordination with Talon Helicopters and Nanaimo SAR. An e-biker had been missing overnight in a remote area with no cellular coverage. Traditional methods had failed to locate the subject, and time was critical.

NSR deployed their helicopter with an integrated Lifeseeker unit and, after an aerial search, the system successfully detected the signal from the subject’s mobile phone. Rescuers were able to land nearby and extract him for further medical evaluation.

INTUITIVE OPERATION

One of Lifeseeker’s key strengths is its adaptability. It can be integrated into certified and non-certified platforms and requires only basic operator training. The user interface is designed to be intuitive, enabling rapid deployment even under the high-stress conditions of a SAR mission.
