Stronger together - The Vellox Group
Aleksandra Banas, CEO at Vellox Group, explains how this new collection of companies provides operators with a unified and comprehensive service
You’ve just consolidated four companies together. Can you tell us a little about the primary roles of each of these companies?
Each of the four companies that now make up Vellox Group bring a distinct area of expertise to the aviation industry, and together, they form a truly unified and comprehensive software platform.
Spidertracks provides real-time fleet management and safety insights for operators in over 70 countries. Its advanced tracking technologies enable continuous aircraft monitoring, significantly enhancing operational safety.
Air Maestro focuses on scheduling, crew management, and safety management, offering an extensive suite of tools that help operators manage everything from pre-flight staffing to post-flight safety enhancements.
Flight Vector is a leading North American provider of dispatch and flight planning software, offering mission-critical solutions for emergency medical services (EMS), air ambulance, and other high-intensity aviation operations.
Complete Flight is widely used by leading EMS operators, providing essential tools for flight manifests, operations control center (OCC) dispatch control, weight and balance calculations, maintenance tracking, and flight risk management – ultimately enabling faster response times and more informed decision-making.
With this new organization, what is the benefit for aviation and special missions operators of having the services and abilities of the four separate companies all in one place?
The biggest advantage is that operators now have a complete, end-to-end solution that streamlines every aspect of their operations. Instead of juggling multiple disconnected tools, they can rely on an integrated solution to manage their workflows more efficiently and safely. This strategic consolidation allows for product enhancements that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, creating a more powerful experience for our customers.
For special missions operators – whether in medical transport, defense or public safety – having a seamless flow of data across departments is critical. With Vellox Group, real-time flight tracking, risk management, and dispatch tools work together effortlessly, enabling operators to make faster, more informed decisions in high-pressure environments.
Another key benefit is stability. Unlike competitors driven by short-term financial goals, Vellox Group is backed by permanent capital, meaning continuous investment in innovation and customer success. Our platform is a long-term solution designed to meet the evolving demands of global aviation.
Ultimately, by bringing together the best capabilities of Spidertracks, Air Maestro, Flight Vector and Complete Flight, we’re giving operators a more powerful, reliable and future-ready system – allowing them to focus on their missions with confidence.
This is a huge change. What are the main goals for you and everyone in this new organization moving forward in 2025?
Our vision is clear – to provide the world’s most trusted solutions for safe, efficient, and compliant air and ground operations. As the only globally proven, long-term, full-suite aviation software provider, we’re setting ourselves apart by offering stability, deep expertise and a commitment to continuous growth. Our goal is to continually expand and innovate, particularly in AI-driven analytics, risk management, and automation, ensuring that aviation and ground operators have access to the most advanced, integrated and reliable software solutions on the market.
Each company has spent years developing its own distinct identity, fostering trust, and cultivating a loyal customer base. We aim to build a new brand that resonates deeply with our customers, continues to inspire trust, and leads the way in air and ground operations for years to come.
Through cutting-edge technology, industry-leading safety and compliance tools and a globally distributed support network, we’re committed to setting new standards in 2025 and beyond. Our focus is not just on improving operational efficiency today but on shaping the future of aviation software for years to come – empowering our clients to thrive in an increasingly complex and demanding industry
