Reaccreditation for AirMed International
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) has reaccredited US-based AirMed International, which offers critical care transport services, through to July 2022.
The accreditation covers AirMed’s fleet of dedicated medical transports, pediatric intensive care, intra-aortic balloon pump for cardiac care, perinatal, neonatal and adult patients.
AirMed International President Denise Treadwell commented on the commendation: “This public recognition is testament to the expertise that AirMed International demonstrates daily, the hard work of every employee to become the very best at performing their awesome responsibility to transport and care for our patients around the world.”
AirMed International is part of Global Medical Response. With 38,000 employees, GMR teams deliver medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and patient relocation services, in the US, the District of Columbia and around the world.
