TriState CareFlight celebrates 20 years in Santa Fe
Air ambulance provider TriState CareFlight is celebrating 20 years of operations from its base in Santa Fe, New Mexico
The operator, which serves parts of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada, organized an event to commemorate the base’s anniversary on 20 November at the Jet Center of Santa Fe.
The event included Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber, representatives of the local and state government, the Santa Fe Fire Department, and the Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center, as well as several former patients of TriState CareFlight.
“The skill, the talent, and the commitment that go into making this work as a lifesaving enterprise is really inspiring,” said Webber. “The skill that goes into managing the aircraft, the medical skills, the ability to calm people down when they are in an extreme situation – it is an amazing lifesaving operation. Twenty years is a true accomplishment, and I wanted to say thank you. What you do very literally saves lives every day.”
Fellow Air Methods subsidiary LifeNet of the Heartland recently celebrated 10 years of operations from its base in the city of North Platte, Nebraska.
