Acron Aviation acquires Trakka Systems
The company will continue to operate under its own name, utilizing Acron’s global base to reach new customers
Trakka Systems, the manufacturer of mission-critical video transmission and compression technologies for military and special missions operators, has been purchased by Acron Aviation.
Trakka produces integrated electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) imaging systems, including airborne cameras, searchlights, and mapping technologies.
Following the acquisition, Trakka will continue to work under its existing brand name, but will now leverage Acron’s global customer base to scale up its operations.
“Trakka’s integrated portfolio of aircraft mission equipment complements Acron’s current portfolio and aligns with our vision to become the top-tier partner of choice to customers in the aviation industry,” said Alan Crawford, Chief Executive of Acron Aviation.
Peter Rudaizky, CEO of Trakka Systems, added: “The combined knowledge and expertise of both companies provide Trakka with access to new markets, greatly expanding our reach, which will enable more customers to benefit from our mission-critical solutions.”
The Chino Police Department in California recently upgraded its Bell 505 with Trakka’s Total Mission Solution.
