Chino Police upgrade helicopter with Trakka Systems’ Total Mission Solution
The Chino Police Department in California is enhancing public safety by equipping its new Bell 505 with Trakka Systems’ Total Mission Solution
Trakka Systems’ advanced suite of critical vision technologies includes the TrakkaCam TC-300 Gen II electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) imaging system, TrakkaBeam TLX high-intensity searchlight, and TrakkaMaps TM-100 mapping and video management system. This fully integrated system is set to enhance Chino’s aerial surveillance, emergency response, and law enforcement operations.
Trakka’s technology gives the Department the tools to protect residents, respond to critical incidents, and effectively manage large-scale emergencies.
“Trakka Systems is proud to support the Chino Police Department with our Total Mission Solution, ensuring they have the most advanced tools available to protect and serve their community,” Mike Kipphorn, Western Sales Director for Trakka Systems, said.
“The addition of critical vision technologies on the Bell 505 helicopter enhances the aircrew’s situational awareness, and improves response times,” Kipphorn continued. “Officers are better equipped to follow suspects, assist in search and rescue missions, and support ground operations in real time. Additionally, Trakka Systems has a long history of equipping Bell helicopters with our technologies and [we] currently have many cameras and searchlights outfitted on the Bell 505 platform.”
Last year Trakka Systems deployed TLX searchlights on five Italian Carabinieri AW169 helicopters.
